Dr Rachel Manson is a Philadelphia native veterinarian and bulldog enthusiast that has been providing pet patients with care for a total of 25 years. As a very young child she used to examine and bandage her stuffed animals and told everyone she would be an animal doctor when she grew up. Her passion for helping pets started at only 3 years old and she followed that passion, working and studying for a total of 12 years to become a veterinarian. Dr Manson originally started her career in vet medicine as a licensed veterinary technician and for the past 11 years she has been a veterinarian. Dr Manson graduated with honors from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed a 1 year rotating internship in medicine in surgery at VMCLI. She prides herself in the constant use of positive interactions with pets and providing high quality modern medicine and client education. Dr Manson and the Pet Wellness Clinic aim to keep the pets and the pet owners of this region happy and healthy. She can't wait to meet you and your furbabies!
Jacqueline graduated from Muhlenberg College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a concentration in Sustainability. Her experience in the veterinary field over the last 7 years has been comprised of primarily small animal medicine in addition to her time spent with equine and exotic animals. She strives to incorporate Fear Free practice into every exam in order to build a safer, less stressful, and more enjoyable experience for all involved. Beyond work, Jacqueline shares her home with a German Shepard, a Mixed Breed dog, and a cat that can likely perform more party tricks than both her pups combined!
